| DesignerSP (v1.0) - File Description |
 |
Description:
- Do you want to get into making maps for the Far Cry community to enjoy?
- Would you like to have people comment on what fine work you did to make people's gaming fun more enjoyable?
- Would you like to have your files available to anyone with an internet connection, and mirrored on several different Far Cry sites?
- Do you want to try your hand at making a single player level for all to enjoy, but don't know how or where to start?
If you answered yes to any of the above questions, then you need to give N88tr a big 'Thab you!' He has released, for your enjoyment of completing, eight single player levels...which can be made to accomodate the Multiplayer designer as well. DesignerSP provides map makers with nearly-complete levels that can be opened in the Sandbox Editor and completed. Complete a map and transform the perceptions of what FarCry can be, create and engaging and thrilling campaign or just have a site-seeing tropical adventure!
The eight levels contained in this download are:
- BlastRadius
- CountDown
- HiddenBase
- HostileThreat
- LowTide
- Spectre
- SunBurst
- Tremor
The best thing about this mappack is that two different people can work on the same level, and the results will be two completely different gaming experiences! The results are limitless, and offer nothing but a positive pay-off, along with renewed interest and other chain reactions for the community. The DesignerSP provides map makers with a very stable base for them to start their dream singleplayer map for FarCry.
I look forward to seeing some completed works submitted for everyone to enjoy! Also, N88TR has stated that he will offer assistance to anyone that takes on the task of map making.
Refer to the readme for more details.

The DesignerSP was created to help struggling or uninspired FarCry mappers. Inside the downloadable archive is a collection of 8 levels that are to be extracted and opened in the FarCry editor, the Sandbox. The levels were designed towards Singleplayer or Campaign mode, but they can certainly be tailored to Mulitplayer or even used for a custom modification.
Once you have completed your map and are ready for it's release, you will need to create a readme file and cite my name, n88tr, as the base creator of the map.
