mp_Cresent - File Description  


Description:
Capt. Amerika has returned and the wait for one of his creations has ended! He brings with him a great FFA/TDM map for all to enjoy! You find yourself on an island, which, like the name of this map, is cresent...with a smaller island near by; The idea behind this map is not so much hand to hand combat, as it is vehicle to vehicle! This is a great place to hone your skills as a driver and may take out a few baddies as you go.

There are lots of wide open spaces throughout for high speed driving, so you can pay a little more attention to what you are shooting at, instead of the road. For those of you that prefer to use your Nikes as a preferred mode of transportation, don't fret, as there are plenty of objects that can be used as cover, and/or a staging point for an ambush!

So, jump into a buggy, put the pedal to the metal, and keep your finger near the fire button!

"Crescent" a FFA/TDM MP Map for Far Cry
Made by Captain Amerika [aka N88TR]

Test & Creation Machine:
OS: Windows 2000 w/ SP 4
CPU: AMD FX-57 @ 2.8 ghz
Motherboard: Asus A8V
Memory: Corsair PC3200 1 gig
Graphics: ATI Radeon 9800 Pro XT 256 mb
Graphics Driver: Radeon Catalyst ver. 6.12
Harddrive: Western Digital 110 gig

Description:
A crescent-shaped main island with a smaller island close by. The map is very simple and geared towards exploratory vehicle combat.

Extra:
The .Cry file is included if you want to mess around with the map. Contact me via email [see below] if you're going to do a re-release.

Installation:
Extract to "Levels" folder in the Farcry directory.

Disclamier:
These files are provided as is, like all custom game content. I'm not the one to blame if you incorrectly extracted/placed/edited the files in this archive.
